Miami Upsets Ohio State, advances to CFP Semifinals

 


MIAMI, Florida (FLAN 35)-  The Miami Hurricanes had a fierce battle in Arlington, Texas at the 90th Goodyear Cotton Bowl against Ohio State.

Last time these two played was for the National Championship in 2003 where Ohio State came out on top.

Tonight is a different story as Miami wins moves on to the semifinals.

Ohio State started off very slowly with only 9 total yards entering the second quarter, and this hurt them drastically. 

Miami scored twice in the second quarter to give Miami a 14-0 lead going into half time. Bo Jackson got the first score of the game for OSU in the third quarter.

Miami came to work in the fourth quarter defensively with multiple big stops and closing out the game with an interception. 

Miami now waits for their opponent after tomorrow’s quarterfinals.

It is safe to say that the U is back!
